CHRISTMAS 2002 SHOOT & SOCIAL - DECEMBER 7TH

     At the April after-shoot club meeting, December 7th was selected as the date of our December shoot and family social gathering.  December 7th was selected in order to allow our Knoxville Marauders to attend.  Their other club shoots on the 2nd Saturday of each month.  So, mark your calendar, and plan to attend our Christmas celebration on December 7th.

     The company that makes our badges has notified us that the price of Marauders badges is going up.  Badges with an alias of 9 letters or less will cost $37.50 plus shipping.  Badges with an alias of 10 letters or more will cost $40 plus shipping.  But what the hay!  A Marauders badge with your alias on it is a neat thing to have pinned on your shirt or blouse.  It looks great and lets all the other cowpersons know who you are, without asking.  If you need a badge, see Sundance.  He’ll get your order in

If You Ain't Paid Up...You're Visitor!

If you haven't paid your 2002 Marauders membership dues yet, please do so. Individual Marauders Membership are as follows: 

                                   $35 Individual Membership

          *$50 Family Membership    # $10 Associate NRA Dues

*   Family membership covers principle shooter, spouse or significant other, and dependent children living at home or in school if a full time student.  Grandfathered early family memberships cover principle shooter, spouse or significant other and children and their spouse or significant other.  Grandfathered family memberships are all family memberships that were in effect before May 2000.

#   If you have a regular NRA membership or Life or other membership above the Associate membership, provide the NRA number and expiration date to Trooper George or Sundance and you do not owe the NRA dues.

     You can send your dues to Sundance ( JAMESIE S. NEYMAN, 4181 BLUE SPRINGS ROAD S.E., CLEVELAND, TN 37311)  Or you can pay them at the May shoot.  Remember, members pay a $10 shooting fee and non-members pay $15.

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN SHOOTING ON A MARAUDERS TEAM AT A TEAM SHOOT IN ALABAMA ON SEPTEMBER 22ND & 23RD?

     On September 22nd and 23rd, the North Alabama Regulators will host a SASS approved National Championship Team Shoot.  Teams will represent their home clubs and participate with teams of Cowboy Action Shooters from all over the country.

     Each team will consist of 7 shooters and 2 waddies.  The waddies will be general workers to help conduct the shoot, unless a waddie has to replace a shooter who can’t participate for some reason.

     The shooting team members will be the following:  3 shooters who shoot either traditional or modern – 1 shooter who is either a senior or junior – 1 cowgirl shooter who is either a lady shooter or a junior lady shooter.

     Each team will pay a shoot entry fee of $500.  (It has been proposed that the Marauders club pay part of the $500 fee, but no final decision has been made.) 

     If you are interested in representing the Marauders at this  Team Shoot as either a shooter or a waddie, contact T-Bone (423-899-9807) who volunteered to be the coordinator of this event.
